Pickup in Florence, Montecatini, Pistoia, Lucca & Chianti · Private Mercedes · Flexible itinerary
Venice is a city like no other — canals instead of streets, gondolas instead of cars, a labyrinth of bridges and campi that reveals something new around every corner. For travelers based in Tuscany, a private day trip to the Serenissima is not only possible but an unforgettable addition to your Italian journey. We take you there in comfort, with the flexibility to shape the day around you.
Your private Mercedes driver picks you up early in the morning — directly from your hotel, villa, agriturismo or B&B in Florence, Montecatini Terme, Pistoia, the Lucca area, or the Chianti region. No shared buses, no fixed meeting points. We come to your door. Departure is scheduled early to ensure you arrive in Venice by approximately 10:00 AM, giving you a full day to explore.
Need to make a stop along the way? Extra stops are available on request. Whether you wish to visit a historic villa, stretch your legs in a charming town, or simply adjust the route to suit your needs, your itinerary is fully customizable. We work around your preferences.
Your driver brings you directly to Piazzale Roma — Venice's gateway, where the road ends and the water begins. From here, you are free to discover the city at your own pace. If you would like a deeper experience, you can add a private guide who will meet you upon arrival and lead you through the hidden corners of Venice, revealing stories that only a local can tell.
Once in Venice, how you move is part of the magic. Walk the cobbled alleyways, cross the Rialto Bridge, lose yourself in the quiet campi. Or navigate the canals like a Venetian: hop on a vaporetto (water bus) for a journey down the Grand Canal, or arrange a water taxi for a more exclusive experience. Every route becomes a scene from a painting.
When it is time to eat, Venice offers everything from humble bacari (cicchetti bars) to Michelin-starred dining. For a selection of the city's finest restaurants, we recommend consulting the Michelin Guide Venice — a curated list of the best places to savor Venetian cuisine, from fresh seafood to traditional risotto.
At approximately 5:00 PM, your driver will be waiting for you at the pre-arranged meeting point in Piazzale Roma, ready to bring you back to your accommodation in Tuscany. After a day spent among canals, art, and history, you can relax in the comfort of your private Mercedes as the Veneto countryside slips by.
Every itinerary is different. Tell us your pickup address, your preferred departure time, and any extra stops or special requests. Whether you are staying in Florence, Montecatini, Pistoia, Lucca, or the Chianti hills, we design the day around you — not the other way around. Pricing for areas outside Florence is available on request.

Real experiences from guests who took a private day tour from Tuscany to Venice with our drivers.
An incredible day! Our driver picked us up at our hotel in Florence at 7:00 AM and we arrived in Venice by 10:30 as promised. Having seven hours to explore on our own was perfect — we did St. Mark's, the Rialto Bridge, and just got lost in the alleys. The ride back was comfortable and relaxing.
We were staying in Montecatini and wanted to see Venice without the stress of trains and luggage. Our driver was professional and punctual. We added a private guide for the morning — highly recommended, as we learned so much about Venetian history. A seamless experience from start to finish.
We were a group of six and the Mercedes van was spacious and comfortable. The driver was excellent — he gave us great tips on where to eat and how to use the vaporetto. Venice is magical, and having a stress-free transfer made the day perfect. Worth every euro.
Send us your pickup address and travel dates. We'll take care of everything else.

Venice is best explored on foot — the city is surprisingly walkable and getting lost in the alleyways is part of the magic. For longer distances, the vaporetto (water bus) is the most practical option. For a more exclusive experience, you can arrange a water taxi. Your driver can advise on the best options based on your itinerary.
For St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace we strongly recommend booking tickets in advance, especially in high season (April–October) — queues can be very long. Your driver can advise and help coordinate, but tickets are purchased directly by guests. For restaurant recommendations, we suggest consulting the Michelin Guide Venice.
