The Cinque Terre — Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore — are five villages built directly into the cliffs of the Ligurian coast, connected by footpaths and a single railway line. They are among the most photographed places in Italy, and among the most difficult to reach comfortably. The train from Florence requires at least one change. The roads into each village are restricted or closed to private cars. And in summer, the crowds at La Spezia station make the arrival as chaotic as the journey.

A private transfer from Florence removes all of that. Your driver picks you up at your hotel or apartment, takes the A11 motorway towards the coast, and drops you at the most convenient access point for the villages you want to visit — La Spezia station for the train between villages, the ferry pier for a sea approach, or directly at Monterosso if you are staying there. The journey takes approximately two and a half hours from Florence city centre, depending on traffic and your exact destination.

We also cover Portovenere — the smaller, quieter village at the southern end of the Gulf of Poets, with its striped church, its castle and its view across to the islands of Palmaria and Tino. Many guests combine Portovenere with a stop in one of the Cinque Terre villages on the same day. The itinerary is flexible — tell us where you want to go and we plan the stops accordingly.

Both vehicles in our fleet are available for this route. The Mercedes E-Class is ideal for couples or small groups of up to 3 passengers. The Mercedes Vito / V-Class accommodates up to 6 passengers and is the better choice for families or groups who want to travel together. All transfers include a fixed price confirmed before departure — fuel, tolls and the return journey are all included if you book a round trip.
